This houseboat is one of the most innovative houseboats in Germany. Thanks to the large PV system, the very large lithium battery, a premium industrial electric motor from the Austrian company Kräutler and the Victron-Energy components, the houseboat is not only self-sufficient, but also provides uncompromising, long-lasting comfort on the water. Thanks to this unique set-up, you can not only enjoy the landscape silently, but never have to worry about refuelling or running around with petrol cans again. Glide along silently, without the stench of engines and enjoy nature, no matter when and where you are, as you can produce new energy yourself at any time and are therefore independent (and are always a good neighbour because you have endless electricity ;-)).


The houseboat was planned and built by the owner together with the premium houseboat manufacturer "Nordic Season" from Finland. The houseboats are very solid and winter-proof, as they are built for other latitudes and have no problem with German weather conditions.

Interior description:


The houseboat has a large living room with kitchen and sleeping accommodation for 2 people,

separate WC with shower, washbasin and electric toilet, as well as a separate bedroom with double bed.


The spatial division of the houseboat was implemented accordingly so that the children can sleep in the bedroom, for example, but do not have their own exit to the outside (unlike the bathroom, where you can shower directly after water activities or the like). The focus here was clearly on the safety of the (small) children, so that they can pass through the (parents') living room.


Technical details:


The technical set-up was planned and realised over more than a year and is the heart of the houseboat. By involving many experts (boat builders, shipyards, master electricians, solar installers, etc.), it was possible to create a perfect set-up that leaves nothing to be desired and will function for the next 20 years and is future-oriented.


PV system: approx. 3,200 watts (9 modules of 355 watts each, with very good module efficiency)


Lithium battery: approx. 60 kWh, which can permanently supply the engine with 12KW and at the same time 10KW can be drawn from all sockets, whether for cooking, heating or charging other boats or houses (16 and 32 ampere connection for charging and discharging). If you have your own plot of water, the houseboat can provide the huge storage system as well as the PV system and thus supply your own house as a larger balcony power plant or charge other cars (e.g. the electric car can be charged completely free of charge every 3-4 days).
