The advantage over a houseboat with a box shape - it's a ship and that's how it sails. Due to its clearance height, the Cotopaxi can get through many bridges without having to plan. If you want the sun, go to the upper deck and sail from above. If the weather is bad, you sail from the inside steering position and sit aft protected from the sun or wind.
